Atlantic Shore Line 100 is a freight motor that never left Maine rails because York Utilities bought the line and continued to use it and sister 102 on the lines between Sanford and Kennebunkport until 1927 and Sanford and Springvale until 1949. Thus it would have operated on the line that Seashore now uses.
Careful scraping during the restoration revealed that it had been brown (Boxcar Red) for most of its life and even had Southern Yellow Pine in its construction.
